Design Sprints are an effective way to mobilise your team to solve challenges with creating or evolving your products and services.

Originating at Google Ventures and then elegantly summarised by Jake Knapp in his book 'Sprint', the Design Sprint framework we teach at AgileSnacks is a focussed series of workshops conducted over a 5-day period with the objective of solving a specific business challenge.
What are the benefits?
“By asking people for their input early in the process, you help them feel invested in the outcome.” ― Jake Knapp, Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days
Getting the right group of people together, without distractions, to identify and validate possible solutions to your design challenges is incredibly effective and will save you time and money and improve your bottom line.
Save time: Your product development team will likely have a long 'wishlist' of features in their development backlog and working through these without a clear idea of which ones are the 'killer features' your customers are looking for can be a massive time-waster.
Save money: While your team may be constantly developing features, if they're not the things your customers are looking for your throwing your product development dollars out the window.
Make money: Focussing on the things your customers need will help you retain customers and increase your market share.
How does it work?
To get the most out of everyone's time, preparation is necessary, understanding the required roles team members will play is key and having a designated facilitator who is familiar with the framework is essential.
